I am so glad to be part of UMY, especially IPICOM. Because it allows me to explore my passion (since I love things related to communication). Being a student of IPICOM gives us a privilege to study abroad through the student exchange program, and that is what I like the most. IPICOM students join Student Exchange to USIM
Proudly, two IPICOM students participated in the Student Exchange program, Nazala Rohmi Husniyah and Shifna Asna Allifya participated in the Student Exchange at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (USIM).
IPICOM Student Join Virtual Student Exchange to NKUST
Raihana Suci Amalia joined the Virtual Student Exchange at the Department of Information Management, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST). The program will be implemented from March 26 to June 20, 2022.
Finished the internship, 4 IPICOM students Launch Muhaga Studio
A total of 4 IPICOM students carried out internship activities at SMP Muhammadiyah @ Gamping, (Muhaga) Jogja. In the internship process, IPICOM students have created a radio channel and created a system to operate the radio.
IPICOM students enter the preliminary round of OASE (Olimpiade Agama, Sains, dan Riset) PTKI in Indonesia
Tafsiroh Southeast Putri entered the preliminary round in the English debate competition in the context of the OASE (Olimpiade Agama, Sains, dan Riset PTKI in Indonesia). The event was held at UIN Rainry Aceh with various competitions.
IPICOM Students Again Achieve Achievements Through Work
IPICOM students class 2019 Umar al Jufri, together with regular KPI students namely, Abdul Alim M, M Ilhan Khan, Saidah Fitri Hasanah, Fadhil M Alfarisi, M Ziddan Fachrirobbi, Della Pradieta, Yusuf Hasyim, Abdurrahman Hasef, and Asman Chimang are members of UKM MM Kine UMY. Won a competition in the framework of the 2021 Anti-Corruption Film Festival which is held regularly every year by the KPK.
Acting as producers, Umar Al Jufri and his friends won 1st place with a film entitled "Piknik Panik".
Previously, Umar Al Jufri also won 2nd place in the 2021 UT Disporseni competition.
Active in Tapak Suci UMY, IPICOM students won the National Pencak Silat championship
IPICOM student batch 2020, Putri Alifiani Azzahra.
Representing the Tapak Suci UMY contingent, Zahra won 3rd place in the women's singles category in the National Pencak Silat Championship
Student Exchange at Asia University, Taiwan
Even though the Covid-19 pandemic situation did not dampen the enthusiasm of International Program of Islamic Communication students to take part in Student Exchange at Asia University. The Student Exchange was held online, attended by all 2018 IPICOM students and several regular KPI students. Students who take part in the program are 5th semester students who take Cinematography courses.
